Elmira Little Theatre is Seeking Directors for the 2026–2027 Season!
Following the incredible success of our 2025–2026 season, we are thrilled to begin planning what comes next—and we’re looking for passionate directors to help bring it to life.
With just two outstanding productions still to come—The Sweet Delilah Swim Club and Young Frankenstein—the excitement is building as we turn our focus toward the 2026–2027 season.
Our Play Selection Committee has narrowed the field to eight exceptional titles, from which four will be selected:
Drama
August: Osage County by Tracy Letts
or
Other Desert Cities by John Robin Baitz
Comedy
Clyde’s by Lynn Nottage
or
Home, I’m Darling by Laura Wade
Comedy
Pride and Prejudice by Kate Hamill
or
It’s Only a Play by Terrence McNally
Musical
Something Rotten! by Karey Kirkpatrick, John O’Farrell, and Wayne Kirkpatrick
or
The Drowsy Chaperone by Lisa Lambert, Greg Morrison, Bob Martin, and Don McKellar
While proposals for the titles listed above will take priority, we warmly encourage directors to submit proposals for other shows as well. If there’s a story you’re passionate about telling, we want to hear it.
