Elmira Little Theatre is Seeking Directors for the 2026–2027 Season!

Following the incredible success of our 2025–2026 season, we are thrilled to begin planning what comes next—and we’re looking for passionate directors to help bring it to life.

With just two outstanding productions still to come—The Sweet Delilah Swim Club and Young Frankenstein—the excitement is building as we turn our focus toward the 2026–2027 season.

Our Play Selection Committee has narrowed the field to eight exceptional titles, from which four will be selected:

Drama

or

Other Desert Cities by John Robin Baitz

Comedy

Clyde’s by Lynn Nottage

or

Home, I’m Darling by Laura Wade

Pride and Prejudice by Kate Hamill

or

It’s Only a Play by Terrence McNally

Musical

Something Rotten! by Karey Kirkpatrick, John O’Farrell, and Wayne Kirkpatrick

or

The Drowsy Chaperone by Lisa Lambert, Greg Morrison, Bob Martin, and Don McKellar

While proposals for the titles listed above will take priority, we warmly encourage directors to submit proposals for other shows as well. If there’s a story you’re passionate about telling, we want to hear it.
