Our Mission

For more than 80 years, Elmira Little Theatre has brought people together through the joy of live theatre. We are a volunteer-powered community theatre creating opportunities for people throughout the Southern Tier to experience, participate in, and celebrate the performing arts.

From actors and directors to designers, technicians, stage crew, and volunteers, ELT is built by people who believe in the power of telling stories together. We welcome people of all experience levels, whether you're stepping onto a stage for the first time or have been involved in theatre for years.

At the heart of ELT is community: creating memorable performances, discovering new talent, building lasting friendships, and making theatre accessible to everyone. We invite you to take a seat, take part, and be part of the story.
