Who should decide when or if a patient may end his or her own life? That is the dilemma of this timely play. After a horrible car accident, an artist is left paralyzed from the neck down. Confined to a hospital bed with feeding tubes providing nutrients, the artist believes there is nothing left to live for while a well-meaning hospital staff tries to convince their patient not to give up hope. Everything leads to a court hearing held in the artist’s hospital room as a judge must determine who gets to make the final decision for the patient.
